| Darla Arnold: Darla does not have the "normal" case of COPD but is disabled nonetheless having been declared disabled for Social Security purposes just this year. However, her mind and positive attitude is not disabled at all. At 42, Darla is a comparative youngster among many old timers on the list who contracted COPD from many years of smoking. Darla smoked very little but was put down anyway with a constant cough which has hung on for years. We show both Darla and her Husband, Don in her picture because he is the love of her life and is himself involved with in helping others through a group of ham radio operators. So from time to time, Darla will reluctantly let him have the computer for a while. Darla is a night owl and sometimes accused of having her days and nights turned around. Add all the time she spends on the computer with the time she spends on hobby crafts and Darla's day is pretty much taken up but she still manages to provide assistance to the List. Darla is an administrative Assistant for the List. |
